Volunteering in the Community: bank holiday gardening for a Christchurch local

Over the summer bank holiday weekend, a few of the guys from Christchurch Round Table got together to help clear out a local resident’s garden.

The person who lives here has mobility issues. Their back yard had become completely overgrown and they weren’t able to get out and enjoy their outside space.

A few of the guys got together and donated a couple of hours of gardening time one morning. Within 2 hours, the whole yard was brought back to a livable standard.

This is what Round Table is all about - helping the local community, doing something different and having fun at the same time!
